Your are in full control of your roast by having actual roast curves, a defined reference curve and actual temperature and Rate of Rise (RoR) values available. This helps you interacting with your roaster at the most important moments during the roast process and creates the perfect coffee – every single roast.

Cropster C-sar goes beyond real-time roast curves. Overlay and compare stored curves, relate them to cupping results and get new insights. You can mark a certain “perfect” roast as reference for a profile. All this information is synced and available to the Roasting Intelligence software. The “Roast Explorer” is an interactive chart that unveils important correlations between a number of roast parameters such as roast duration, shrinkage, roast value, or charge and end temperature as well as cupping results. This interactive report lets you easily compare hundreds of roasts and filters out quickly the best roasts, exactly the one you want to focus on.

The Cropster RI2 logs roasts including the Rate of Rise (RoR) curve in real-time. This makes your roast process easier to control and produces more accurate results. Many adjustment options enable precise configuration to meet your personal preferences.

Check your roast profile including temperature curves and roast comments before you roast. Just select a profile and the RI2 loads related information like the “perfect roast” curve (or reference roast curve). Additionally you see duration, charge and end temperature, and any gas or airflow comments. Visualize the information either as curve graph or parameter summary list.

Cropster’s RI2 auto-start and auto-finish detection automatically recognizes the start and finishing point of your roast curve, so you can fully focus on your roast.
